Why use a cold dryer? Because the water in the compressed air will damage the gas-consuming equipment, resulting in high maintenance costs, low production efficiency, high scrap rate, large pressure drop in the pipeline, high energy consumption of the air compressor and other problems. Refrigerated compressed air drying equipment is referred to as cold dryer for short. The purpose is to remove a large amount of liquid water and gaseous water. If there is still water in your production, it can basically be said that your cold dryer does not meet the requirements and needs to be replaced with a better dryer!
1、 Drying effect
1. No ice! 2 ℃ is the critical point of ice water. If the compressed air is frozen at 2 ℃, the drying effect will be guaranteed. At this time, the liquid water produced will reach the maximum value of zui. If the temperature is too low, the ice will block the system and cause the frost crack (like the frost crack of the vehicle water tank in winter). Especially, the plate-type refrigerator dryer is prone to frost crack due to the small internal gap. Solution: add a constant pressure retaining valve.
2. Water drainage at the inlet end. If the dryer is equipped with air inlet pre-drainage device, a large amount of water will not be involved in the freezing, but the lightweight compressed air will be frozen. The load of the dryer is small, and the freezing effect is good.
3. The condensed water at the evaporation end shall be completely removed in time. If a large amount of water generated by freezing is stored inside the cold dryer, resulting in loss of drying effect, large pressure difference, insufficient on-site pressure, frequent loading and unloading of the air compressor, low efficiency of the air compressor system, increased power consumption, and a large number of electricity bills are wasted.
2、 Durable
1. Iron, aluminum and copper are not corrosion resistant, and stainless steel is Zui's best material choice.
Corrosion! The air circuit system of the cold dryer is inhaled into various acid and alkali gases by high temperature, high humidity and high oxygen for a long time, and the corrosion rate is increased, which is easy to cause corrosion perforation. The whole cold dryer is scrapped. Most cold dryers are made of iron, aluminum and copper materials. These materials have poor corrosion resistance. It is necessary to purchase new cold dryers from time to time to maintain the effect. Generally, it needs to be replaced twice or three times in 10 years. The stainless steel material can eliminate these problems because of high cost and manufacturing difficulties, There is less market.
2. Resistance to high and low temperature: The cold dryer is faced with the test of extremely hot and extremely cold ambient temperature all year round, and the intermittent cold and hot air inlet temperature caused by the start and stop of the electronic temperature control fan of the air compressor, resulting in the presence of water on the site of the universal cold dryer, which cannot be solved. The solution: the energy-storage cold dryer has strong buffering capacity, and is equipped with a large and efficient refrigeration compressor.
3、 Energy saving
1. Low pressure drop, the dryer connected in series on the compression system pipeline will cause different pressure drop. To achieve Zui low pressure drop, it is necessary to have enough heat exchange channels inside the dryer. Although this increases the production cost of the dryer, it is still of great value to users. For example, the pressure drop of the dryer can be reduced by 0.05MPA, the load pressure of the air compressor can be reduced by 0.05MPA, and the air compressor system can save energy by 4%, such as a 37kW small air compressor, After replacing the cold dryer, the cumulative energy consumption can be reduced by 65000 kW after continuous operation for 5 years!
2. With high heat exchange efficiency, the only way to obtain high heat exchange efficiency is to increase the heat exchange area under the condition of the same heat exchange material
3. Pre-cooling and temperature return. The standard to judge the drying effect of the dryer depends on the water displacement of the dryer under the same conditions, not the temperature difference of the air inlet and exhaust pipe. The excellent cold dryer has a temperature return device to pre-cool the air inlet and heat the air exhaust, so that the cooling capacity zui can be largely stored inside without waste and running away, thus achieving low cooling power consumption of zui, no condensation on the air outlet pipe and no sweating.
4. High-efficiency compressors, such as household air conditioners and refrigerators, also have energy efficiency levels of 1 to 5. It is very necessary for users to choose high-efficiency compressors for long-term operation of equipment.
5. The advanced control system includes PLC, soft start, frequency conversion, permanent magnet motor, traditional pressure switch start and stop, which not only wastes a lot of power expenditure, but also shortens the service life of the compressor.
6. For air inlet and drainage, try not to let the liquid water brought by the air inlet participate in the freezing. For the cold dryer equipped with air inlet and drainage, only the compressed air dryer has less workload, less load and less energy consumption.
7. (Less use of condenser fan) The compressed air is used to take away the heat. The air outlet of the cold dryer carries out the heat of the dryer to play a role in heat dissipation. At the same time, the compressed air is heated and expanded. The user gets a larger volume of compressed air and superheat compressed air, further ensuring the energy saving and anhydrous drying effect.
8. By evaporating the condensed water to take away the heat, the operation of the cold dryer will produce a large amount of low temperature condensed water. Some dryer plants use these cold water to further reduce the power consumption of the dryer (gasification and evaporation will take away a large amount of heat, just as it takes a long time to heat and boil a pot of water to dry). The condenser fan basically does not work, and there is no need to purge the condenser radiator.
9. The electronic drainer controls the drainage by time, which inevitably drains a large amount of expensive compressed air. Solution: use the level drainer without gas loss.
To sum up, the dryer plays the role of "removing water" in the air pressure system. How to choose a dryer that is relatively dry and energy-saving, we should strictly inspect the product, so as to keep the air pressure system in a long, dry, energy efficient and stable operation. The cold dryer is equivalent to the water filtering function of the "kidney" of our human body system. If it is really necessary to remove water from the dryer in production, we need to buy a better "kidney".
